iOS Procon for BF3
The Procon BF3 Edition for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is the next step in the evolution following iOS Procon for BFBC2 and MOH.
It serves as a standalone remote administration tool for (PC-Version) “Battlefield 3″ game servers. Using a direct connection to your game server it provides you with complete control over your settings, lists, map rotations, lets you browse logs and event lists, chat and interact with the players on your server. Furthermore it is of compatible with the Procon layer server architecture. Logging onto a layer server lets you take advantage of Procon’s sub-admin account management and plugins even on your iOS device.

- App fully prepared for in-app language localization
- Improved App navigation using a tab bar on the bottom of the screen which gives you fast access to the most important features of the App

- More readable colorful combined comannd, chat&events and punkbuster console
- An all new Battlemap feature known from Procon for Windows temporarily deactivated due to map coordinates not beeing submitted by the current BF3 server software

Great job on the BF3 app guys. I hope your new billing model with the layer royalty to you helps you continue developing this product. Controlling servers is something I’ve always struggled with. The programs suck, the game protocols don’t do what they are supposed to, and any ‘fun’ functionality is lacking. So far I’ve been very satisfied with Procon. Keep it up!

Due to some changes to the rcon protocol which came with the release of the R20 server software the App unfortunately developed a certain instability. This has been fixed with the iOS Procon update patch 1.14 which is available on the App Store.

It’s very difficult to use the keyboard to enter text in the Procon App. It seems like Apple’s keyboard assist is disabled which makes hitting the right letter incredibly hard.
